Faze Vs Navi

The ESL Pro League’s schedule for today offers another three CS:GO matchups we can bet on. I focus on the clash between FaZe and Natus Vincere here.

The Europeans find themselves in a tough spot prior to round 4 of Stage 2, while the Russians are on course to make the playoffs despite a recent hiccup.

My FaZe vs. Natus Vincere betting preview for Wednesday highlights the betting odds for the tie. I then provide my team analysis and wrap up with my prediction.

Let’s start off with the betting markets that you can find at BetOnline.

Looking at these odds, it seems like FaZe are doomed here but at this stage of the tournament, anything is possible.

Let’s move on to the team analysis and try to figure out where the real betting value lies.

FaZe Analysis

The team looks to be down and out after losing all three of their Stage 2 matches so far. They couldn’t muster more than one round win against both Fnatic and mousesports, and lost to an Astralis team looking to bounce back after two consecutive defeats.

This has cemented FaZe at the bottom of the table and they also have the worst kill/death ratio among the six teams.

Their prospects don’t look too bright but we have to acknowledge the fact that they have been a worthy opponent to the elite despite ultimately losing all the ties.

Their lack of leadership in clutch moments has been a problem, however, the roster still possesses enough quality and they will hope that their good head-to-head record against the world ranking leaders will continue today.

NaVi edged both Astralis and OG in their opening fixtures of Stage 2 but were completely outplayed on Nuke and Dust II by mousesports yesterday.

The Russians are still second in the group and in with a good chance of clinching top spot but their huge dependence on s1mple has been a problem.

Their kill count has not been great lately and s1mple himself is not exactly in top form.

The team still comes into the tie as huge favorites but there are definite holes in their game and they will need to improve if they don’t want to sweat until the end today.

FaZe vs. Natus Vincere Prediction and Pick

Faze

Most people expect an easy win for Natus Vincere here. After all, FaZe has lost three on the trot, while the Russians are the world number one and have arguably the best player on the CS:GO pro scene.

However, there are a few things that give me pause. First of all, there seems to be a lack of organization in the NaVi camp. They have looked a bit chaotic in their last matchups and their form is closer to the one that saw them lose two matches in Phase 1.

In addition, FaZe has the advantage on a couple of maps and historically they have been a tough opponent for the Russians.

With the pressure now firmly on NaVi, I believe FaZe can thrive here. The teams will probably look to get Nuke and Overpass off the table and the clash can go either way on the remaining maps.

It will still be tough for FaZe to get this over the line but I think it is an ideal situation to back the underdog at this price.

So, I conclude my FaZe vs. Natus Vincere betting preview with this as my betting pick:

  • FaZe

There are several other options to bet on esports this Wednesday, so don’t miss out on the rest of our predictions. We use the odds of the best esports betting sites in the business.

Just three matches are separating us from the end of DreamHack Masters Spring. More precisely, the DH Masters Spring European event. G2 is waiting in the grand finals, following a solid win against BIG in the upper bracket finals.

Tomorrow, NaVi and Faze Clan are going up against each other for a spot against BIG in the lower bracket finals… which could see them through to the grand finals. Faze vs. Navi predictions is exactly what we’re going to talk about in this piece, so keep your eyes (and ears) peeled!

As usual, we’ll start off with general information on both teams and work our way through map pool stats and past results. Individual displays will be explained too, just before finishing things off with the actual Faze vs. NaVi predictions. So, if you’d like to place CS:GO bets tomorrow, here’s what you need to know about this particular matchup:

Faze vs. NaVi Predictions

Believe it or not, Natus Vincere is the favorite coming into this one. Most esports betting sites believe S1mple and the boys have a better chance to advance to the lower bracket finals.

And the margin is quite substantial; -182 on NaVi and +130 on Faze.

You’d think these two teams would be much closer than that… But, I guess that’s what our Faze vs. Navi predictions are here to analyze.

Past Results

Perfecto’s arrival took many by surprise. Even though the fans were generally sad to see GuardiaN out once again, the general consensus was that things needed to change. Surprisingly enough, Natus Vincere kicked off the new era with a blast, winning IEM XIV World Championship after a wicked 3-0 win against G2.

But, they failed to regroup on ESL Pro League S11 EU and had a proper embarrassment on ESL one Road to Rio in last month. Gamers Without Borders saw them perform in a pretty good light, but that wasn’t really a proper competitive environment.

Natus Vincere lost just one out of their last five matches; the one against G2 in the first round of the upper bracket. One of those four wins was against Faze Clan on Gamers Without Borders… but once again, GWB wasn’t really a fully competitive environment, meaning it can’t have a major effect on our Faze vs. NaVi predictions…

As for Faze Clan, I’m still trying to figure out what went wrong in that match against BIG. Sure, TabseN and the boys played well… but NiKo and the company looked as if they hadn’t slept for the entire night. It was weird, to say the least. On the bright side, they finally showed up for the occasion against NiP, but almost failed to close out the match on the decider map.

Map Pool Shennanigans

The odds are in favor of Natus Vincere… but the overall roster quality as well as the map pool depth falls in favor of Faze Clan. What’s making Natus Vincere appear as the favorite team here? Well, it’s pretty S1mple, don’t you agree?

Okay, I’ll make no more puns from now on!

Back to the topic – Faze Clan should be the dominant side on Dust 2, Mirage, Inferno, and Train. NaVi, on the other hand, should take Overpass and be a tough contestant on Nuke. From the looks of things, even if Faze Clan displays another unimpressive performance, their map pool depth should help them win at least one map against the CIS giants!

Final Thoughts

What is there left to be said regarding Faze vs. NaVi predictions that I haven’t mentioned already? I feel like I’m repeating myself but I have to take it for another spin:

Faze Clan is a team packed with superstars. Even with Olofmeister gone, they still got NiKo, Coldzera, and rain. Bymas and Broky offer the much-needed youthful aspect and will hopefully continue to develop under such a top-tier mentorship, both fragging-wise and game-sense-wise.

But, while Faze Clan’s roster looks impressive, we shouldn’t forget about the fact they’re playing nowhere near their real potential. They choke all the time, can’t string together more than a few wins, and look absolutely bleak when not playing on one of their most successful maps. They’re capable of taking the ones they practice (Mirage and Dust 2), but look rather unimpressive on others.

But, everything we’ve analyzed thus far doesn’t point to a clear winner here. Everything we’ve pointed out tells us we’re in for a dramatic match. NaVi is, arguably, in worse form than Faze Clan. As previously mentioned, they had an unsuccessful ESL One Road to Rio CIS campaign which showed off all their flaws. Gamers Without Borders went by smoothly, but I still don’t think this new NaVi lineup with Perfecto is the best way going forward for the CIS behemoth.

With all that in mind, here are my official Faze vs. NaVi betting predictions:

Faze Vs Navi

That’s it, fellas! It’s probably not what you thought it would be, especially considering my poor run of form as far as map totals are concerned. But, considering everything we’ve seen above and the reputation of both teams, there’s no way this one ends in a 2-0 win.

Faze Vs Navi Live

Both Faze and NaVi will take their maps and will decide who goes into the lower bracket final against BIG tomorrow. It’s going to be an epic battle, that’s for sure.

With that said, I thank you for sticking with our Faze vs. NaVi predictions till the very end. Hopefully we’ll have a proper match to enjoy tomorrow!
